Fatal Frame III - Reika Kuze

Yet another pencil sketch.. things are... well. I'll probebly explain in August..

Fatal Frame (Oringaly known as 'Zero', mistakenly retitled 'Project Zero') is a nice series of games. I won't go into too much information cause.. no need.. IF you know the series, great.. If you don't.. learn.

Anyway.. This is the mean Antagonist (but far from a villain from the third game 'Fatal Frame III: The Tormented' (Original name: Zero - Voice of the Tattoo), Reika Kuze (née Yukishiro). I was unable to get a good picture of her tattoo, which covers most of her body (upper body exposed only) so.. it's not right at all.. doing the detailed Snake & Holly pattern.... is tricky enough but without a decent reference? hell no.. but it's a major part of the character.. The Tattoo priestess is inked with a special 'ink of the soul' which is a mixture of ink, human blood from the living, and human blood from the dead. Tattooed on the body to inscribing the pain and loss of the living and the dead.. where she is then staked to the ground while alive via her hands and feet while being sung the lullaby to put her to sleep to ease the pain and  stop the spread of.. well.. I can't 100% remember.. while the first two games had basically a door to a hell-like void where the rituals were to stop them spreading (alot of Shinto inspired folklore), this isn't really to stop anything spreading.. BUT if the priestess can't sleep and hold all the pain in, then it'll spread and inflict everything back onto the living.

Anyway... Quick pencil sketch.. Good practice to do these I guess.
